“The Water of Leith” was written by John Geddie, and published in Scotland. This 1896 edition had gorgeous illustrations and photographs, most notably was the cover. The cover has been restored for brightness and clarity. The illustrator was the famed Joseph Brown. Brown has many works today featured at London’s National Portrait Gallery, as well as the Science Museum.
