“Recipe for Disaster” is a cute and fun cover for any tea-cozy mystery, or any light mystery novel. It can also be used in a variety of non-fiction, food-related areas. This product is great for independent authors, indie authors, and for use on such publishing platforms as Kindle and Nook.
A professional ebook cover can be a deciding factor when a reader discovers your title. You aren’t a cover designer or graphic artist, but most readers will expect you to create a cover as if you were. A bad book cover delivers the wrong message. It’s no secret that entire websites are devoted to showcasing (and mocking) bad book covers, and many news sites such as the “Huffington Post” and “The Telegraph,” have ran articles doing the same. No author should have to live with that. Your book cover is just as important as a well-written, concise description.
All of my eBook Covers are 2500 x 1600, and at a resolution of 300 DPI. Every cover kit comes with a generic cover image for reference. All templates come as a zipped file, and contain the .psd cover template. All templates require Photoshop to customize. I sell each cover in very limited quantities, so you don’t have to worry about overuse. Feel free to adjust and tweak the template to suit your tastes. All you need to do is change the text and save it as a “.jpeg.”
Your customization should be straightforward; however, there are always exceptions. If you need help, feel free to message me. My contact information is provided in the template’s “Read Me First,” file.
To customize a book cover:
1. Open zipped folder.
2. Open the template’s “Read Me First,” file and follow its instructions.
3. If your template requires any, install the font files first, they are included in you zipped file.
4. Open your template in Photoshop and customize.
5. Save as a “Jpeg,” or whatever extension you need.
6. You’re done!
Each purchase entitles you use the cover for one book, as both a book cover and your promotional needs.
Please do not sell or give your template files away after you’ve created your cover.
